Ingredients for the recipe

  • 1 kilo cod
  • 1 kilo small okras
  • 2-3 onions
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1.5 glass olive oil
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 700gr tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe preparations

Soak the cod in water and let stand to remove salt. Then remove the flesh and bones and place in the middle of a baking pan. Wash and clean the okras, fry them slightly and put them in the baking pan around the cod. Saute the onion and garlic in the remaining oil in the frying pan, add ground tomatoes, salt and pepper and let the sauce boil for a while. Pour this sauce over the cod, sprinkle with a little parsley on top and cook the food, until only its oil remains.
