“Masticha Liqueur” is traditionally produced in Chios and is a product of the distillation of authentic Chios Masticha.
The founder distilled the crystals of Mastic, taking natural spirit and created after many efforts, the excellent “Mastic Liqueur”, Product with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). The local tradition wants “Mastic Chios Liqueur” to be served with dessert, after every meal or together with coffee. Today, the 4th generation, following the well-hidden family recipe (passed down from generation to generation), is supplied by The Chios Mastic Producers Association distills the original mastic in its traditional copper stills, creating the internationally awarded “Chios Mastic Liqueur” which encompasses in its taste the entire history of the island. The “Chios Mastic Liqueur” is an excellent choice for consumption in a shot (try it frozen) or in cocktails or even as an aperitif served in a pillar glass with crushed ice.
